General
- Most products sold have a 12 month/20k km manufacturer's warranty. Exclusions include rubber components.
- In the unlikely event of a defective part, a replacement exchange will be provided upon completion of inspection/testing/confirmation.

No longer needed?
We understand that circumstances may change. We're happy to accept returns on unused, unopened items within 30 days of purchase - simply contact us via email for a return authority. They must be in the same condition as they were sent to you, in original, sealed packaging and free of soiling (such as fingerprints, oily/greasy stains, etc). A 20% restocking fee applies for all approved returns.
Goods must be shipped back in suitable packaging to ensure they return in re-saleable condition. Shipping costs are borne solely by the purchaser, including the cost of return in the event a return claim is unsuccessful or if goods are sent back without a return authority. Please do not attach adhesive labels or write on the product's packaging. If any of the aforementioned terms of return on this page are not abided by, the claim will be deemed ineligible. Specially ordered items, electrical items, and/or fragile items (at our discretion) are not eligible for return.
A lot of our products come in opaque packaging, including sensitive parts, and therefore it may be difficult to examine an item's fitness for resale. In respect of all our customers, such parts will be accepted for return at our discretion.
Parts Suitability
It can be often difficult to determine what part fits your vehicle. We are happy to help out and where we provide advice and you make a purchase off that advice, we will own any errors made by us. Please contact us with your VIN and rego details, photos of the item you need and any specific information (eg. description of item, any identifying numbers on the existing item).
You accept responsibility upon placing an order that you have carried out sufficient research to confirm the item/s you have purchased are suitable for your vehicle.
Special note regarding brake parts: In line with EU guidelines where sealed packaging is required, please do NOT open the product packaging if you are unsure. Contact us for assistance to confirm suitability. Genuine BMW brake pads have 2D diagrams of the pads. You can confidently use these to compare with your vehicle. Many aftermarket manufacturers also provide fitment suitability information on a label which enables you to check before opening the box.
Warranty Procedure
Please send us an email with the following details:
- Invoice number and date of purchase.
- VIN number for the vehicle which the part/s were fitted to.
- Part number/s.
- When the part was fitted and by whom.
- Details of the fault including a timeline of events if possible. Please attach relevant, clear photos if possible.
Our warranty is voluntarily provided by BM Direct Pty Ltd (“BM Direct”), and only applies to products sold directly by BM Direct. The warranty is offered additionally to other rights and remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law.
If an urgent part replacement is required, we suggest ordering a replacement item from our store. Upon completion of our investigation, we will reimburse you for the purchase including shipping costs if a valid warranty claim is determined.
Our warranty covers the part only, when it is installed by a suitably qualified person to a vehicle determined to be suitable by the manufacturer or us (via an email enquiry), which is used on public roads for non-commercial purposes. We do not cover labour costs, fluids, fasteners, towing/recovery costs, consequential damage, or loss of income.
It is your responsibility to document odometer readings and enlist a suitably qualified person to carry out the installation of the items you have purchased. Installation error including misdiagnosis, poor workmanship and failure to follow manufacturers' specifications/repair instructions, abuse (including usage off-road/competition including racetracks), misuse/mishandling, and modification forfeits any warranties.
