Genuine BMW N13 engine cylinder head coolant flange to cylinder head seal.

This seal goes into the component also commonly known as the rear flange, or thermostat housing (although the thermostat is actually elsewhere, this is where the thermostat would be on the transverse mounted version of this engine).

This is commonly the cause of a coolant leak that is identified as a coolant stain that dribbles over the bell housing.
