Gates 02-1975 Coolant Hose Between Cylinder Head and Thermostat (BMW 11537598234 Equivalent)

Dubbed as the Mickey Mouse hose because of the shape of the fitting at the cylinder head, this hose often requires replacement when replacing the oil filter housing gaskets because the fitting crumbles upon removal or the hose and/or oring is swollen from oil contaminiation. It often also blows suddenly, leaving you stranded.
