Restore the performance of your N52/N52K powered BMW with a new set of DISA flaps!

This is the inner DISA flap, the more difficult of the two to access. There are two methods to access this part:
- The common way via intake manifold removal. Intake manifold seals are required, and we recommend purchasing the crankcase ventilation (PCV) lines which often break upon access
- The easier way via removal of the alternator. As the alternator is secured by aluminium bolts, these are torque + angle bolts and must be replaced and tightened correctly.

If you've already replaced the VANOS solenoids and VANOS check valves, all N52 engines will eventually need a new set of DISA flaps. Common symptoms aside from doughy or dull performance include rattling noise at idle, mechanical failure (flap separates from actuator) and sometimes a check engine light.

Upon removal you will often see segments of the green rubber gasket missing.
